Hurricane
Invented in the 1940s at the famous Pat O’Brien’s bar in the French Quarter to use up a massive surplus of rum (an utterly nonsensical combination of words), the Hurricane is named after the distinct, curved hurricane lamp-shaped glass it is traditionally served in.
