The Gin & Tonic is the quintessential highball, born of mosquito bites, colonialism and the British urge to booze. Change up the gin, the tonic, the garnishes, but the fundamentals remain: cold, clean, consistent style of glass. Lots of ice. Fresh, good-looking garnishes.
